Catholic Health strives to provide career advancement opportunities to help our Associates achieve their personal and professional goals. We have partnered with Trocaire College to offer tuition reimbursement for those interested in earning an Associate Degree in Registered Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Surgical Technology.

Associates selected for this limited opportunity will receive full reimbursement to cover the cost of tuition and fees.

The Program

Associates interested in applying for this tuition reimbursement program, beginning in the 2023/2024 academic year, can apply for one of the following degrees:

• Registered Nursing: 12 associates will be chosen to start in the Fall 2023 semester (24 month curriculum)
• Radiologic Technology: 3 associates will be chosen and admission is rolling (24 month curriculum)
• Surgical Technology: 3 associates will be chosen and admission is rolling (24 month curriculum)

The Application

Interested Associates should complete the application, found here. They must also write a brief essay detailing how the completion of their chosen degree program will have a positive impact personally and professionally.  A reference form must also be submitted by your direct manager or supervisor here.

Applications and all accompanying documentation are due by May 5, 2023.

Additionally, as part of the selection process, applicants will be asked to participate in a panel interview with the program selection committee. Successful applicants will be notified of their final status and next steps by June 5, 2023.

Eligibility

To qualify, Associates must have successfully completed their probationary period, currently budgeted to work at least 30 hours/pay period, and have no active disciplinary action. Selected candidates must agree to remain employed with Catholic Health for at least two years after receiving their degree. Those who leave the employ of Catholic Health before two years or fail to successfully complete the program for any reason, will be required to pay back a percentage of the tuition as follows:

• 0-6 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 100% reimbursement
• 6-12 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 75% reimbursement
• 12-18 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 50% reimbursement
• 18-24 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 25% reimbursement
