On Saturday, May 14, 2022, ten innocent lives were taken and three people injured in a senseless act of violence. What should have been a beautiful weekend afternoon, became a time of tragedy in the wake of a mass shooting. A year later, Western New York continues to mourn for the lives lost and stand in solidarity with the victims’ families to show that hate and racism have no place in our community.
