Catholic Health – Trocaire College Tuition Program

Catholic Health strives to provide career advancement opportunities to help our associates achieve their personal and professional goals. We have partnered with Trocaire College to offer tuition-free programs in Registered Nursing, Licensed Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, Radiologic Technology, Medical Sonography (Ultrasound)*, and Echocardiography*.

Admission to the Catholic Health – Trocaire College Tuition Program does not guarantee acceptance into Trocaire College. Associates selected for this limited opportunity must also apply and be accepted into Trocaire College. For a complete list of program prerequisites, visit www.trocaire.edu.

The Application

Interested associates should complete the application found here.

As part of the application, associates will be required to write a brief essay focusing on how receiving their chosen degree or certification will:

  • Have a positive impact on their lives, personally and professionally
  • Support our Mission, Vision, and Values

Each applicant’s manager will also be contacted to provide a professional reference.

Applications and all accompanying documentation are due by April 25, 2025.

As part of the selection process, applicants will be asked to participate in a panel interview with the Catholic Health selection committee. Successful applicants will be notified of their final status and next steps by the end of June.

Eligibility

To qualify, associates must have successfully completed their probationary period, are currently budgeted to work at least 30 hours/pay period, and have no active disciplinary action. Selected candidates must agree to remain employed with Catholic Health for at least two years after receiving their degree. Those who leave Catholic Health before two years or fail to successfully complete the program for any reason, will be required to pay back a percentage of the tuition as follows:

  • 0-6 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 100% reimbursement
  • 6-12 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 75% reimbursement
  • 12-18 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 50% reimbursement
  • 18-24 months after completion or failure to complete the program – 25% reimbursement

*Candidates for admission to these programs must be a graduate from a patient-facing Allied Health/Life Sciences program with an A.A.S. or B.S. Degree (i.e. Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Nuclear Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy,  Surgical Technology, Radiography) with a minimum 3.0 CGPA.
